Best free e-mail provider
Who provides the best free e-mail for both computer and smart phone. Yahoo, with the recent upgrade to mobile, really sucks. I am seeing so many issues with AOL I don't even want to go there. Is G-Mail the answer?

Gmail is great for robust searching and a clean, fast loading interface. It takes a little while to get used to the unusual interface, but it grows on you.

I have a mytouch with a gmail account attached, but for some reason I am still a fan of MSN's Hotmail.

I use a personal, real life gmail account, and it (1) works well with my smartphone, but (2) may be just a bit to cozy with my smartphone to consider using it for hobby.
Seems like it could be a LE risk with the way it interfaces and stores information. But I am not a IT geek, so may just be my setup. I would suggest with any system you proceed with caution.
