Why is Dallas such a hobby Mecca?

One theory I have is that uncle lee has tolerated it for so long and still tolerates it. How many cities still have AMPs? Not many. Some cities simply close them down and run them out of town.
I've lived in a few other cities and I have seen time after time where undercover actions were going on by LE. Here? Not so much.
There is so much real crime here that they don't have the resources to pursue this element. If something falls in their lap, they'll jump on it but otherwise they leave it alone.
An example is Arlington...it was hot back a few months ago and we remember why, however, it's cooled off since.

Too narrow it down to the state of Texas, the cost of living here is reasonable. To narrow it down to the DFW area, hell, I guess because we kick the rest of the cities' asses because we are more awesome.....
