just curious, maybe a person of Muslim faith can weigh in, or someone smarter than me. We have been very successful at running the catholics out of town, fantastic job , if I do say so myself.And as far as I can recall, Obama has been VERY concerned about how Bush had ruined our "standing" in the "Muslim street" and did nothing but "INFLAME" our enemies( although we now don't have any since he took office) .And seeing how "TOLERANCE" for all (except everything christian) is now the rule of the road, ....Do the radical Islamics except SAME SEX MARRIAGE?Do we need to be "TOLERANT" and excepting of the Muslim religious views?This is all very curious to me how it gets reconciled in the liberal mind?.. will SAME SEX MARRIAGE "Inflame our enemies"?....anyone?... thanks..

Are you asking if Christians opposed to gay marriage are just as stupid on this subject as Muslims opposed to gay marriage, the answer is yes.

It is not the govt business who you marry as long as they are of legal age and sound mind.

I cannot see why so many are fixated with the Gay Marriage thing. Marriage is supposed to be about love and committment. If two people of the same sex care enough for each other to enter into a legal contract that is sanctioned by the State, then by all means let them.

It is deplorable that so many are still stuck in some antiquated thought proccess that compells them to force their personal beliefs on others.

With marriage comes responsibility. If the Gay Population feels that it is ready to accept the responsibilities of this commitment, let them.

I have a problem with the process.If gay marriage was of the popular vote of all Americans than so be it.I dont believe in it being rammed through the legislature and still only barely making it by having Bloomberg buy off Alesi and others. Its all tainted.

Why? Nobody is making anyone get married.

Straight people can still get married and divorced. Now Gay people can.

Straight people could never marry their blood relatives nor do gay people want that.

It does not mean anything other than that.

We are not headed down some moral decay.

They said that about Elvis and Rock and Roll music.

Some folks are just flat scared of change. Even if the change will not effect'em one bit. It is wired in their DNA. They are scared of change. I think they think there is some gay ass coodie that they can catch.

The government should just be fair.

It should let you marry who you love as long as they are of legal age and sound mind.

I have no problem with homosexuality. In fact, I feel that it's one of many areas of human behavior we don't know much about.

In fact, some scientists are actually trying to determine whether some people are genetically predisposed to homosexuality.

So Marshall, while I agree with your right to freely express yourself, you should look into the facts before speaking your mind.
