Oh gawd please stop with the bathroom mirror pics!

i disagree somewhat with this first post... most of my pics were taken in my bathroom because it's the only big mirror i have. regardless if they're professionally taken or not, you'd be able to tell if the girl is attractive or if she isnt ur type.. it doesnt take a photo shoot to be able to tell.... HOWEVER.... professional pics usually boost business and generally look way better than amateur photographs.. i agree with sugarbeth... a collection of amateur AND professional pics in ur showcase is the perfect combination as soon as i find a great photographer and have the time to set up a shoot im going for it!!

Sweet Treat... I couldn't agree more. Use both types of photos.. they both obviously have their fans. Though I agree with others here.. if you decide to use bathroom shots, clean your bathroom first. LOL. But whenever or IF ever you decide you want professional photos done, I'd love the opportunity to discuss it with you.. (my shameless self promotion LOL) But whatever you do, make sure your photos represent you, not only the way you really look, but who you really are and the way you want people to see you. That's the most important thing.. honesty

I'm going to agree with the original poster, bathroom shots CAN imply a sense of "lack of effort". Even going out in the backyard, by the pool, or in the park and having a friend take some photographs of you can delete that perception. As far as photographers wanting to get a peek for free, don't think so. Even in Maslow's hierarchy of needs, for guys, food comes first.

And do yourself a favor and don't take the picture standing in a room full of dirty clothes all around you! Geez throw them in the closet or something!!I noticed one of those the other day and couldn't believe my eyes!

Very true.. a good pro photographer looks at everything in the frame. Many people who do their own, don't. So remember the mirror shot can say more about you than realize.. ie… if you are a slob, don't advertise it. I DON'T find dirty clothes strewn about, half used bathroom products and tampon boxes sexy. True the pic might show what you really look like... but in ways you never imagined.. it just might show WHAT you are really like.

Well reading the varied interests here - VP selling time - GWC and Pro C selling service, one could be forgiven for falling asleep!

But the original point is very true! A home made cell phone shot with the dog's doo in the frame just sez one thing! Cheap lazy and dirty = Stay away.

OTOH; who on BP/P411/ECCIE/FB street can afford a decent ad? Well charging as much as they do - $150 to $500 - for one client, surely a mere $75 dollars is not going to break the $5000 daily bank?

As a guy owning cameras all of his life, including a couple of fine boxes and lenses rollies/nikors, I would NOT even bother to set up for less than 3 k a day!

As for providers that I like to chose, these days I cruise until I see one. Then for a couple of Jacks I can get what I want, fresh ready( weeetttt) young and horny as hell ! I leave the Motel madames to those brave souls who love ploughing dry ground!

If you want to look like crap - its your business, punters wont be clicking on your shots. But if you want to be seen at your best - like Sonya here in SA -
