Default For the record............

I have been "one of those people" for over 30 years. I am not afraid either.

I really don't think the rich have any fear over a few points. They are just sitting it out until you pay them to play.

We are fast becoming not a Country or Government of the People, but a County and a Government of the Corporation.

Don't forget the easy credit that was sweeping the nation. GMAC was just formed with the idea of buying a car on payments and the idea took hold for expensive appliances. Many people were overextended.

FDR did do some things right (right, that it created jobs but didn't really help the economy, REPEAT, it didn't really help the economy); he created shovel ready jobs through his alphabet agencies like the CCC and the TVA.

You know I was reading Politico last night and I saw almost the same exact words written above by CDN. I'm not saying the Bishop was plagarizing but maybe he works for Politico. I suppose he just copied his talking points from the democratic decoder ring that he wears on his wee wee. (or so I've heard)

I'm just thankful that Bush and his economic policies left us with such a huge budget and jobs surplus when he left office. Who knows how bad things would have been without his brilliance leadership of our economy.

Proving that George Bush was an idiot does not prove that President Obama isn't one. Let's deal with the present, shall we? We can't change the past, but the future looks dim if we don't seriously deal with the Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, OBAMA debt.

And Catnip, you are right. We have a government of the corporations, by the corporations and for the corporations. It's been that way since at least 1913. I did my best to stop it then, and continue to do so.

Default COG

Why thank you Theodore, and for the parks too.

When the Supremes said a corporation was like a person and could donate like one we really went to hell.
