"Best?" Really? I will admit that he put up good numbers while he was on the court. I will also admit that he may have been AMONG the best for a short time. But even if we throw durability out the window and look at individual seasons, I think it would be hard to argue that he was #1 at any point in time.
In any case, his body has been begging to retire for several years now. He never reached full potential but was productive enough to not be considered a draft flop.
