Do you think providers should offer review specials?

I've been receiving messages asking about review specials and discounts... Im just curious how other providers and hobbyistss feel about this?

if you like it, theyll love it
my only advice---if youre going to offer a special in exchange for review, i would recommend the special apply to their 2nd visit (the visit AFTER theyve posted said review)
otherwise, you may get "some" flakes that claim theyll write one, and wont.

How would this review special work? I'm guessing that there would be a certain discount on a future visit should the client write/post a review of that encounter, correct?

Personally, I don't care for it because, ,from a hobbyist's perspective, the review wouldn't be completely accurate, and I'd be skeptical of that review. It's inherently built into the concept that incentive driven reviews have tendency to be positively skewed in the provider's favor.

Why the skepticism? What happens if the experience wasn't to his liking?
(negative review). Not that he'd want to re-visit her, but still.

you could just keep track of who reviews you and if you feel like it give them a special the second time they call....don't offer it upfront just keep it between you and the lucky guy or guys. I agree with sofaking...if it is known upfront I would be skeptical of the reviews also.

but ultimately Mokoa is correct in his wisdom....it is your business no one elses...you are the only one that HAS to wake up with you in the morning.

I believe if a lady is new to the scene that an intro special is a great tool to get others to check her out (especially if she is not at provider status yet).

The smart thing is to offer it to established members with good track records of time on the board and with a number of reviews.

She get's a review, he gets a discount and a good effort will be rewarded with a good review which will lead others to check out her services and provider status. Otherwise what Mokoa said...

I see it as a mutually beneficial deal to write reviews, assuming it is a positive review. The guys get six(?) weeks of premium access for each review, and the lady gets a nice reference. Believe me, I would love to get any discount available since money is not growing on trees nowadays, but I just never understood the discount on the promise of a good review. Also, if you are offering discounts, some guys may be inclined to, how shall I say, embellish the truth to make the session seem more enjoyable. It seems like offering review specials could (won't definitely) create a ship of rats. If you don't like your time with a lady, and it was a legitimately bad time, write a bad review! I think the "review special" temptation would prevent that.

And Karla, I am against any provider reading any ROS or mens-only information, just as I wouldn't expect or want a guy to read the ladies-only section. Although I must admit, I am very curious about what goes on in the powderpuff room or whatever they call it. I would like to think of it as a kinky, virtual, cyber-lesbian orgy, if that is even possible! LOL But I'm sure it is nothing that exciting.
