Calling Or Email
Got to thinking with the big head after the recent alerts on LE contacting ladies. I was wondering what the ladies and gents prefer in initial contact.
Gents, How do you prefer to make initial contact with perspective lady, Email or Calling?
Ladies, How do you prefer the gents to make initial contact with you, Email or Calling? Some of you list both a website with a email address and phone number but which one is the preferred method?

Calling gets a quicker response but you won't get many questions answered. Email with your info right up front, I do my screening THEN if I am comfortable enough to answer your ?'s I will.
Problem is I am not always able to get to my internet on my phone, so emailing does take a little longer to get a reply.

I think most ladies would prefer to get your screening info up front before having a conversation. It just makes chit chat more comfortable & less guarded when a lady knows who she's dealing with.
With me, it's the only option.

I ALWAYS email or PM first.... reserving phone contact until after screening.
If it is a new Eccie girl with P411, I am attempting to see for the first time , I usually go for the Trifecta... I send email , eccie PM , and *P411 Request... all in an attempt to show redundant verification of ID.
Even after knowing a girl... I have a very small number that I feel comfortable about picking up the phone and calling without emailing first!
I just figure it's a privacy issue!

I agree, Giz. That's my style, too. Kind of like with your mother-in-law -- embalm, cremate and bury. Take no chances!

I think that's a matter best discussed between the provider and client, how well they click, how often they're seen, etc. Unless, it's a spontaneous, spur of the moment deal or I know the lady well (and that number is shrinking), I'm usually not in search of an appointment by phone

I personally like the email or PM route. I prefer not to talk to the lady over the phone. Even after the first date, I still don't like the phone route of setting up a date with someone I've already seen before. There's very few people in RW and Hobbying that I'll talk on the phone with.

As an afterthought, I'd like to add... The situation is obviously different if you have a regular history with the lady in question.
Then, it's based off the rapport you have established and your personal knowledge of her particular communication preferences.

I believe that it is impolite to not answer email directed to you. A simple I am not interested is a polite reply.

Well..you can tell when u deal with business men..as many utilize what giz and arklookin said..
I have in the past appreciated the guys that would PM, email..and wait for the nod to "give me a call".. that lets me plan the call so that I am in a place and around people I can actually chat.. no better way to get me to appear standoffish than to call me unexpected and I am at a kids birthday party with 50 parents and kids
Now I have had the over anxious guys pull the PM, email and PHONE call to confirm that I got the PM and emails.. I can appreciate the idea there as the internet can be crazy.. and guys that do that aren't looking to chit chat with me..but merely confirm or not if I have had a chance to check the PM/EMAILS..
also as was said.. it just shows some redundant i.d checks.. but needed

I like emails and Pms better to get the screening done to set up the future appointment. It`s easier and works out better on both ends, emails before calling is the way to go.

Excellent point. PM on here or through 411. And rarely more than the one, if no answer, then I move on. I've never understood those folks who feel the need to blow up someone's inbox or phone.
