I have been thinking about starting a legal agency but Im not sure exactly what I have to do as far as license. How do i get business license for this? What all paperwork do i need to get?

I wouldn't rely on advice posted in this forum regarding such a specific issue. I suggest you hire an attorney in your area with experience in both incorporating businesses and criminal law. Good luck.

The OP is in Oklahoma. She might be better served getting an attorney licensed to practice in Oklahoma who's more familiar with Oklahoma law.

I know she is in Oklahoma. But some attorney's are familiar with other State's laws and practice in more than one state. Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana have alot of very similar laws in this type of business.

Your attorney, Jeffrey L. Greco, is only admitted to practice in the State of Texas:

I would never advise anyone to hire an attorney who practices only in one state to do work in another state because states "have alot of very similar laws in this type of business." Number one, knowing a "similar" law isn't the same as knowing the specific law in a specific state. An attorney also needs to know local practices in a state. Moreover, I practice in Louisiana as well as Texas, and the laws in Louisiana governing SOBs are COMPLETELY different from the laws in Texas governing SOBs.
