I'll have to look in to that. I had one that told me where I left my car but it was horrible. It may have improved. Even the "Checkin" app I mentioned runs off your iPhone but the GPS isn't real good

People would know that you aren't at home and could potentially break in? Yes, people do this irl. You could have an alarm at home and it would still take at least 10-15 mins for the cops to show up (in a good neighborhood). Safety first.

This is the least of my concerns. I wouldn't care if someone knows I'm not home. Heck people have been breaking into empty houses for centuries. I might not want them to know where I'm at.
Even with the FB app I envisioned for say meeting up at say a festival you could opt certain people in, not your whole FB list

Problem is too many people aren't all that selective about "friends" and/or use it as a quasi-marketing tool for their business & let anyone in
