Default Crawfish Broil!

Thats right its that time of the season. Question is who knows a good place that does a crawfish broil (preferably all you can eat), where you can eat massive amounts of these spicy critters?

Perhaps some ladies wouldn't mind sucking some head with me.

Pappadeaux! I don't enjoy the "mud bugs" myself, but I hear that's great place to suck head.

Nicole, you do not know what you are missin'

Okay, theres a place in Hudson Oaks called Boo Rays the owner is from Louisiana. The place has a nice atmosphere with a few t.v's and a Bar. It is well worth the drive. They even have Alligator lol...

In Dallas, you can get them at Aw Shucks and Dodies. I don't know of an all you can eat menu.

In 4-6 weeks I will probably fire up another 80 pound round of bugs+.

I second Pappadeux. Razoo's and Hooters generally join the fray as well but I don't care for the way Hooters sprinkles red pepper on them after the fact. I always wind up scratching my eye and getting pepper in it.

It's Boil by the way. Not Broil.

Ok, the way Pappadeauxs boils them is not authentic - I was so disappointed. They sprinkle the seasoning on the outside after boiling them in plain water - NOT GOOD. Dodies is good, but I just do my own.

They have been rather pricy this year because of the cold weather.

True, but they do have an " all you can eat" special...I've seen lines outside the door to get in on that one...gross!

Sorry, I know I'm missing out, but ....just can't do it.

I did Pappadeaux once a few years back. Don't remembering it being all you can eat, but not sure. Plus i think I got way too many small ones.

Razzoo's doesn't season them much at all.... I go to the Cajun Kitchen in Arlington for mine.

xperiment,
I've been eating mud bugs since I was a kid. We caught them ourselves and fixed 'em up and, that was only a few miles South of Big D. Never even heard of a cajun til I was grown.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure the name of the place is Rock Fish in Grapevine. They have the best I ever had, even better than home. I'll double check the name, it's been a couple of years. If different I'll get back.
