What is the protection if I pay to have access to this site and pay a verified provider? stupid me I thought as a consumer the provider and FINDER would protect the hobbiest since he is paying the capital to drive the industry. Finders fee , for website and providers fee for svc should equal protection for consumer or hobbiest. WTF ever!

First off, ECCIE is only a marketing tool to allow providers and hobbyist to discover each other.

Only on person on this board really cares about your ass (and I mean that strictly in the broadest sense, not any one particular person, but each and every one of us on this board, male & female & other).

The only person who truly cares about your ass is YOU. You have to make sure you are safe. You have to make sure what you are participating in is the right choice for you. I don't care about you, the mods don't care about you. When you understand that point, you can then hobby more safely.

Sure, you can find information on here to help you keep an eye on your ass as you play, but you have to determine which posters you trust, which posters you don't ttrust, and just how far do you trust them.

I agree with tigercat and I'll add that, in my opinion, the degree of safety a hobbyist or provider gains from using this site is largely a product of the effort they make at research -- that is, the more one reads and absorbs, the safer they should be. But plopping down a few simoleons for premium access doesn't buy a hobbyist a magic anti-arrest invisible cloak or a get out of jail free card. Only I sell those. Haha.
