Has ECCIE been slow for anyone else?
Starting a few days ago, ECCIE seems to have slowed down to a snail's pace. It is taking forever to load pages, check/send P.M.'s, and more often than not, I get a message that the server timed out when trying to load a page and I have to hit refresh or resend to get the page to appear. Also, the formatting for the icons is incorrect upon initially viewing a page and it takes a long time to load correctly, or requires refreshing the page altogether. Logging in and out is very slow and often requires me to do it more than once because the server times out as well!
I am not having this problem with any other website, and nothing has changed concerning my anti-virus program, or computer set-up, so am I the only one experiencing these issues or is anyone else having these problems as well? Is ECCIE undergoing maintenance, or has traffic increased resulting in a slowdown? Whatever it is, any insight or suggestions on how to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark

I've had problems too...and I always clear my cache. I was blaming my incall's internet connection.

YES! It's been horribly slooooooooooooow! Takes 5min to post something or send a PM because it times out every damn time. Repeatedly.

I noticed some sluggish response last night but no timeouts.
Today I have had good fast response.

Thanks for the feedback. I tried clearing my cache like Dennis suggested, and it appears to have helped to some degree, but I just got another "connection timed out" error!

I've had several timeouts over the past couple of days, but this evening seems fine.
Overall, I think the server response is a usually a little slow and my timed download speeds from www.speedtest.net are 13.75 Megabits per second on Time Warner. That's almost 9 times faster than a T1.

Ping tests showed some packet loss the last couple of days. Could be bandwidth issues with the host or site's service prvider.
