Default Auto Industry

The southern state senators mostly did not vote to help the us automakers when the government did the bailouts.

Wonder how they will feel when their plants start to shut down for lack of parts?

Leverage is just the most fickle of bitches!

I certainly hope there are no bailouts or loans to automakers whose parts supply is lost....and its not just Toyota...GM is also on the list of auto makers who use Japanese parts btw.

I have to believe that if it becomes critical, they'll start stamping out parts in Mexico, where alot of that is already done.....there are probably some in the industry who had been pushing for this prior to the disaster anyway.

Don't you see the obvious? Obama got us invested in GM/Chevy. Chevy makes the Volt but nobody wants it. An earthquake destroys the auto industry of Japan. Japan can't make fuel efficient cars for Americans to buy. Americans have to buy the Volt because the price of gas is going up. The price of gas is going up because we have stopped drilling. It's genius! Boy, I have to hand to you Obama supporters. Boy, did he come though on this one. Within a few years we will all be required to drive Smart Cars, Volts, and if you are one of the ruling class; Mini-Coopers. Not the little one but the real big one, the Journeyman

Galt....................you mentioned that you don't drink?

Then how in the name of sanity do you account for this rambling drivel? Did you watch Glen Beck over the lunch hour?

Galt. Do you think things through before you start rambling? Have you watched that movie, "Inside Job" yet? If you want to rant about something, rant about the Wall Street fat cats that caused the need to bailout firms.
