correct however he only briefly played as a freshman at U Delaware. he was a standout high school player

people like to make a big deal of Trump's "bone spurs". also his college deferments. interestingly .. Biden also received 5 deferments same as Trump.


the fact is ... 4 of the last 5 presidents intentionally dodged the draft. Obama is too young to have been subject to the draft. any bets he woulda gotten out of serving in some way? of course he would have.


Bush, Clinton, Biden and Trump all dodged the draft. Bush had daddy Bush pull strings to get him a plum Air National Guard assignment as a pilot. Yes ... Bushie Jr can fly a jet! bahhaa. Clinton briefly joined ROTC to avoid service then quit once he was in the clear.

My VA experience has gotten better. In fact they've been reaching out offering more services and to review my records to see if I'm supposed to be getting any kind of disability. If that's a reduction in benefits, then I like reductions.

According to the colonel running that ROTC unit, Clinton only promised to join ROTC to maintain his " political viabilty" but he never actually joined. His number didn't come up and he was safe.
