Not necessarily fake profiles. Could just be girls who got drawn in by the mythology that they could put themselves up on a sugar baby site, and they'd find guys there who were eager to give them money and presents "just because", without anything physical happening (maybe without even having to meet anyone in person). And then their inbox starts blowing up with messages, they realize exactly what the expectations are, think "OMG, what the heck am I even doing here??", and walk away within a few days. That's more common than you might think, too.

When I go on SA (Not premium atm) I have noticed that very few girls seem to be active anymore. Back maybe a year ago, tons of girls would be either online or been online within last 24 hours. Now its like maybe a handful of girls per day and thats when I search a radius of 60 miles around Pittsburgh. I think the amount of paying members has dropped off a cliff over the last years, as most of girls are just trying to do online, total scams or ask to join their OF page.
