Spring Training is here. I’ll admit I’m always an optimist regarding the Pirates. I will admit I’m deeply disappointed in Nutting that he hasn’t spent money to support a very good pitching rotation. Fuck him. I watched their first two games and was impressed with their younger players. Seems like they’re better than some of their starters in the lineup.

Gorski has power. Konnor Green is only 18 and is a complete stud. Tremor Johnson has a quick bat. But Nutting had to bring in two good bats for this season.

Connor Griffin hit his first Major League HR today. He’s 18. 6’4”, 220lbs. Complete stud. He was rounding 2nd base when the ball hit the Centerfield scoreboard. He was flying. Try to see him this spring. He's something else.

Thank god Huntington signed Frazier, we didn’t need that flamethrower from AAA that 27 teams put waiver request in for when he had to fit Frazier on the 40 man. This is why the pirates will always stink, they will cycle real stinky (thing dorie) to just a little stinky like this year. Other low rev teams make runs, complete mismanagement on top of being cheap will keep the stinky cycle going.
