Did the house or senate republicans pass “no tax on tips” or “no tax on social security”? Were any of those priorities in either bill?

Was no tax on overtime in either of the House or Senate bills? I think that was another Trump talking point that he used to get peoples support.

Not a tax expert myself, but my thinking is that this will have to be addressed by legislation.

I cannot imagine that either the House or Senate will strongly obstruct this idea. . . .but it may have to wait till the midterms are emminant and everyone wants to be re-elected.
