You didn't get up in arms when Trump granted TPS to folks or extended it. And he saw it as politically advantageous at the time.

And you didn't cheer on Obama when he was deporting so many folks the Republicans joined Democrats in criticizing him.

Agree with the employer part. Sort of like a runaway. It's not illegal to be a runaway but it is against the law to harbor one. If people without greencards can't get a job, than that would limit the desire to come here. And cracking down on employers that hire undocumented help would seem to be the fastest way to deter entry into this country.
