All I see is excuses.
But not fairness and equal treatment of DEI principles.

I know. Its something you're going to need to grapple with.
Are all NFL jobs of equal worth?

And yet, I know businesses that use the equal pay method.
Everyone has the same interest, to maximize their pay.

I don’t mind the Rooney rule. I just don’t like Art Rooney’s passive BS with his coaching staff.

For some reason I don't understand, the "Rooney", has decided to take his namesake to the very end.
Ya gotta start thinking like a fish to catch one.
So, think like a Rooney.
Art the first, legendary, for being a degenerate gambler at the right place in time.
A Pittsburgh Kennedy, if you will, vice to aristocrat.
His son Dan honorably carried the flag, and helped make them legendary.
Art 2, nope, terrible, can't admit Tomlin is a failure, I think somehow he expects his dedication to diversity to be his defining legacy.

I'd pay some of those guys more than some managers

... Hee Hee! ... He's caught like a rat in a trap!
However, -- let me concede that Mr. Gristle there DOES
have a small point... In the interview with Mr. Goodell,
Goodell explained the spirit and REASON for the Rooney Rule
- to have teams INTERVIEW some minority candidates.
That said - Goodell also stated that teams are free
to HIRE WHOMEVER THEY WISH. (Except for a manager who
surely wants to bring back the "Redskins" name)
So, in HIS opinion (Goodell's) the Rooney Rule means
INTERVIEWING and not necessarily HIRING.
... Which all seems rather fair dinkum to me. ... Just sayin'

If the NFL was able to apply that exact same philosophy to the joeys (I’ve been studying Australian) trying out for the teams, I would say they are a fair league that treats everyone the same.
But alas without it, I see special treatment.

Salty, the Kneelers have used the RR for the sake of mediocrity, honestly, I see no other reason to keep giving Tomlin contracts.

The perceived trap is in how you're constructing the argument. The reason it doesn't constrain me is because the draft isn't the same type of application process and the nature of the roles are vastly different. You can apply similar principles. And teams can fill spots with undrafted talent, which is yet another vector.
Opine on it a bit. Look beyond the superficial. Get to the bones. Focus on e words
Plus, there's no me and thee. Interestingly, a very familiar rhetorical tool.

With the Rooney rule it appears they have painted themselves in a corner. Why is it so many liberals don’t consider what their actions may do to themselves and others.
Oh well, after their support of kneelers they also stepped on their own dick.
Have at it liberals, attendance is down did you get what you was wanting.

Lol, having minorities, women, vets, individuals with disabilities in the applicant pool doesn't paint anyone in a corner
You guys kill me. It's has to be a DEI problem and can't just be mismanagement and underperformance.
