Default increase oil drilling.....when you have North Dakota ?

North Dakota set to become 'liquid gold' capital of the world

The Bakken Petroleum System is part of the larger Williston Basin, which, according to a 2013 USGS study, has 7.4 billion barrels of oil that could supply the nation for at least 100 years.

And update:

North Dakota could help America become a dominant player in the oil industry after experts found a significant amount of undeveloped oil resources yet to be extracted. Geologists determined the middle Three Forks reservoir in McKenzie County has another 10.5 billion gallons of oil worth $18.6 billion just 50 feet lower than where drilling is currently operating

ND is known for their oil. Not sure what that has to do with politics when that's been the case for decades... in 2008 when they hit a resurgence, I doubt it was because of Obama unless he invented fracking.

In all seriousness, I get the 100 years part of the mention, but drill baby drill will fix everything! LOL

This thread would make much more sense if you put it into political context and actually mentioned why drill baby drill is a bunch of made-up smoke screen bullshit for MAGA suckers by their master.

The North Dakota oil industry took off in the 1950s. When oil prices dropped in the 1980s, that boom ended. Oil prices recovered by 1990, but the current boom didn’t hit until the technology of hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, came along in the 2000s. By 2008, drilling in North Dakota surged like never before and oil production increased dramatically.

It has to do with politics because of the current discussion about increased drilling.
Note the title of the thread.

Alaska gives money to their citizens from their oil resource.
Norway created a sovereign wealth fund.

It sounds like North Dakota could give free health care, free tuition, universal income, and whatever else you can think of.
