I'm not a tariff fan, but you're wrong about the record on inflation and jobs.
In early 2020 (i.e. right before the pandemic knocked the economy off kilter) annual CPI inflation was 2.3% and the number of US manufacturing jobs was more than 400,000 higher than when Trump took office 3 years earlier.
