Trump fact check
BS Alert': California hits back over 'preposterous' Trump military claim
Trump post:
"The United States Military just entered the Great State of California and, under Emergency Powers, TURNED ON THE WATER flowing abundantly from the Pacific Northwest, and beyond," Trump posted on Truth Social.
DWR disputes Trump claim:
The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) publicly disputed the president's sensational claims in a post on X.
"The military did not enter California," the agency posted on its verified account. "The federal government restarted federal water pumps after they were offline for maintenance for three days. State water supplies in Southern California remain plentiful."
State Senate pro tem Mike McGuire, a Northern California Democrat, also disputed Trump's post and corroborated the agency's update on the water pump maintenance.

Yet the fire hydrants didn’t work and key reservoirs were empty.
Governor “Good Hair” and Mayor Bass will probably say…….”we finally have The Palisades Fire out” .
They are right, since there is not much left to burn.
As for the fact checking. Voters know that Democrats lie about everything.

... Too Right! ... Trump had the military "at the ready" IF the
California people were going to resist the water being turned on.
But, as stated - the Federal Government - Trump's Federal Government
had the water turned on. ... ...
Blimey! ... They surely DO have those pumps and systems "off-line"
and "closed down" for maintenance almost every odd day. ...
... But, President Trump yet-again has to solve the Nation's problems.
... Winning! ...

It is sad when after Trump is fact checked about his BS, the MAGAs need to fact checked also.
MAGAs
“Yet the fire hydrants didn’t work and key reservoirs were empty. “
“Trump had the military "at the ready"
FACT CHECK
"Reservoirs in California are at or above average storage levels for this time of year, thanks in part to years of proactive water management” said the Association of California Water Agencies.
Officials from various state agencies also issued statements Monday evening that disputed claims by Trump, stating that reservoirs in the Los Angeles area had enough water in storage to battle the fires.
Water from the Pacific Northwest doesn’t flow to the Central Valley," McGuire said on X. "Second, federal water pumps were down for repair and are now back on. The military had no involvement.”
Several experts specifically addressed Trump's repeated claim that a "valve" could be turned on to direct water southward from Northern California
Summary
"It’s difficult to explain what he’s talking about because nobody knows what he’s talking about.," said John Buse.

When multiple fire hydrants are being used in an area the water pressure will be reduced.
Common sense

and a properly designed and maintained system can handle it. If it couldn’t, LAFD leadership should have been jumping up and down. They weren’t. The insurance companies saw it coming and bailed, clearly the place was a tinderbox. Unfortunately whoever’s in charge of lafd was more concerned that leadership be obese lesbians, rather than people who actually know how to put out fires.

It's a way to change the topic. After they get you arguing about what they said then everyone forgets this topic was about Trumps bullshit. Reliable sources in California said he lied about this. Doesn't matter. His fans love it. They make sure they get to blame DEI too.

... And yet - the FACTS remain - Had a BIG fire and they
didn't have the water to put it out.
... Trump wasn't wrong about that...

That is not the point. He lied about what was said in the original post. Which is supposed to be the topic of this thread.

... No, He didn't - I explained President Trump's comments.
Odd though - and rather telling - that you'd take the
word and conjecture of the players over California-way
who are responcible for the "houses being lost" debacle
over the word of Trump - who's trying to save things.

Turn on our sprinkler system.
Have your neighbors turn on their sprinkler systems.
Turn on every faucet in your house.
Have your neighbors turn on every faucet in their houses.
Now take a shower. Bet your water pressure and flow is, uh, challenged.
Oh yeah...ever have your wife flush the toilet while you're showering? Did you have an 'oh crap' moment?

Nope. We paid oodles to live where the infrastructure is done well, the homes all require regulators to drop the pressure.

Yeah, no. It’s called a pressure balancing valve, AKA temptrol or scaldguard, which have been around since the 50s and are code required in many places. If the pressure on one side reduces the valve automatically reduces the other side an equal amount, keeping the water temperature the same. If your lines aren’t well mapped or undersized the overall pressure may be reduced but the temperature will stay the same.

Oh. So that's how this works. You are supposed to "explain" to us what Trump said.
And you explained this how exactly? Because all I see is this:

Meanwhile he said this according to Fox News:
""The United States Military just entered the Great State of California and, under Emergency Powers, TURNED ON THE WATER flowing abundantly from the Pacific Northwest, and beyond," Trump wrote on Truth Social."
But it did not happen that way. The military did not enter and did not "turn on the water." Both parts of that sentence are lies.
And your conspiracy theory implications about the pumps being "off line" is just misdirection. As is this entire issue. The water that these pumps control does not go to the areas affected by the worst fires.
And YES. I will take the word "of the players over California-way who are responcible for the "houses being lost" debacle" over Trump all day long. Looks like Fox News did too.
