Default Pssst - Wanna Make Some Quick & Easy Money?

Simple arbitrage play. I need financing to:

1) buy up all those border wall slabs and bollards Biden has left lying in the desert for the past 4 years. Seller is very motivated - he'll accept 5 cents on the dollar for them. Must close before Jan. 20.

2) hire some cranes and flatbed trucks to lift & haul these steel beams to be stacked & stored a few miles away.

3) use the same equipment to haul them back and deliver them to whichever contractor trump hires to finish construction of the border wall. They will pay full value upon delivery.

Bottom line - we'll make and split 95 cents per dollar invested, less the above costs.

Anyone interested? Time is of the essence!

Guess you didn't check with Steve Bannon before you posted this. He is the one with all the border wall
money.

Where is Steve, by the way ?

Question for you:
Wouldn't the border wall have been built years ago if Steve Bannon hadn't stolen the money for it ?

Just a brief glimpse into the shenanigans:

“How much cash do we have??? We need more cash from the wall,” he quoted Bannon as writing to one of his associates in February 2019.

Looks like Steve is the one who found a way to make quick and easy money.
Now he is on trial.

Another board member and I put our resources together today. We're pretty sure this is what happened.

First Hunter Biden put together a private equity deal to buy up this surplus material from the U.S. government for pennies on the dollar. Joe Biden unfortunately was not in a position to get Homeland Security to buy it back at market value. It would look too fishy. So he decided to throw the election. First he pretended like he had dementia, believing people wouldn't vote for a dotard. Well, he pretended a little too well during the debate, and so had to withdraw his candidacy. But he was still able to sabotage Kamala from behind the scenes. Now that Trump won, the Biden Crime Family stands to make a cool billion on this deal when Trump buys back the materials! Hunter negotiated a good deal - 15% of the net profit, which will be well over $7 billion. And if anybody ever finds out, Joe will just pretend he's senile. And Hunter's already got a presidential pardon! In like Flynn!

When someone says to me,

“Pssst - Wanna Make Some Quick & Easy Money?”

My usual response is to just say, piss off, and keep my hand on my wallet.

Well I'll be cow-kicked! That's a lot of loot to extract from taxpayers just to get the fucking wall built.

Does Hunter's pardon mean he doesn't have to pay taxes on it? Poor guy would have been thrust into the top income bracket, the one that his Daddy keeps saying doesn't pay their "fair share"!

You didn't answer the question.

Vitaman, LustyLad asked me that question because I know the Internal Revenue Code better than his granny knew Bible verses.

LustyLad, the answer is that yes, Hunter will have to pay taxes. Yes, the purchase occurred in 2024 before the pardon was granted. However, the income from the sale of the materials and Hunter’s performance fee won’t be realized until 2025 or 2026. And he won’t file a tax return on that until even later. So he’ll have to report the income and pay the tax. The pardon won’t apply.

The silver lining is that now with Republicans are in power, the Trump tax cut will probably be extended. The maximum marginal tax rate probably won’t go up from 40.8% to 43.4%. That doesn’t sound like much, but it will save the Biden Crime Fanily a bundle! Another good reason to throw the election.

Trying to figure out why they didn’t just scrap it instead of getting next to nothing at auction. That much high carbon steel is worth some serious jack.

Dude. Its the federal government. They're playing with your money. They don't give a shit about a budget. lol.

In fact, they probably sold it to a middle man who will sell it to a scrapper at a profit and kickback a portion to the bureaucrats who ran the auction.

The wall is stupid for the most part anyway. It is set up to 500 yards north of the border and would be climbers can be arrested before they even get to the wall, and they are. Most want to be caught anyway to seek asylum. There are many cases where they climb the wall and fall off the other side and are injured and now we have to provide care for them.

I'm not totally against a wall, but it doesn't do anything to solve the real issues we have. So what we spend estimated 20+ billion over 4 years and still have the same problems we have now. Or do we put that 20+ billion into real immigration issues?

Lets also say the wall costs 5 billion a year to construct since it is estimated to take 20 billion over 4 years to complete. Of course it is going to be way more than that over time doing repairs and maintenance.

5 billion a year buys you 50,000 border patrol agents at roughly $100k per year. 50,000 additional agents would be nearly 4x more than we have now. Or maybe some more technology and remote surveillance could be invested in instead. It would take years to add that many agents though. First ya gotta find people willing to do it, not an easy job, in mostly harsh/rough climates. There is a 13 week training course, and you have to be physically and mentally able to do the job.

We also need a shit ton of trained immigration judges to get caught up with the 5+ year backlog of cases.

This is an interesting look at the state of the wall, different types, and terrain issues,
