Trump is a serial liar. He lies so often and easily that you really can’t trust anything he says anymore.
According to the article he says our food prices will come down if we produce more oil and fix our supply chain problems.
I don’t see how tariffs on our trading partners will do anything but screw up our supply chains, not to mention that we import significant quantities of oil from Canada with whom he wants to add an across the board 25% tariff to.
On top of that he’s going to spend ridiculous amounts of money deporting our agriculture workers which will raise the cost of our own food production.
I can pretty much guarantee that if we do what he proposes food prices will do nothing but increase.
