Lyrics:
United Health
[Verse 1]
There's an
Office with a desk with a person in a chair
And you paid for all of it, though you may be unaware
You're paying for the paper, you're paying for the phone
You paid their salary to deny you what you're owed
[Chorus]
There ain't no "You" in UnitedHealth
There ain't no "Me" in the company
There ain't no "Us" in the private trust
There's hardly humans in humanity
[Verse 2]
The procedure that you need ain't the cost effective route
And only two-percent of peoplе end up winning a dispute
So, if you get sick, pray to God for hеlp
'Cause all your doctor's prayers go up through UnitedHealth
[Verse 3]
Way back in
Seventy-and-seven, Mister Richard T. Burke
Started buying HMO's and putting federal grants to work
Now it's fifty-billion bucks he made just last year
The Warren Buffet of health, the Jeff Bezos of fear
[Verse 4]
CEO's come and go and one just went
The ingredients you got bake the cake you get
So, if you get sick, cross your fingers for luck
'Cause old Richard T. Burke ain't givin' a fuck
[Verse 5]
Commoditized health, monopolized fraud
"here's the doctors we own and research that we bought
They own loans and physicians, pharmacies and meds
They should start selling graves just to fuck you when you're dead
[Chorus]
There ain't no "You", in UnitedHealth
There ain't no "Me", in the company
There ain't no "Us" in the private trust
There's hardly humans in humanity

I'm sure that sounded cool in your head at 1:52 AM.
Not so much in the light of day.

And you shouldn't comment on publications that you obviously don't even read. The WSJ Editorial Board has criticized Trump (for all the right reasons, unlike you) ever since the day he first came down the escalator at Trump Tower.
But that's also off-topic here.

Yep. Your comment is. Mine is not. Hypocrisy pegging the meter.

Yssup - Please refrain from wasting everyone's time with off-topic, drive-by troll posts intended to bump up your post-count.
Thank you in advance!

I think you’ll agree that killing health care executives and then glorifying the killers won’t make it go away either.
If someone had off’ed Mitt Romney back when he was an evil vulture capitalist, Massachusetts never would have had universal healthcare.

I do, killing health care executives, anyone really, is not the answer. But that’s not really the issue. What I’m seeing here in the majority of the posts, including the OP is a complete lack of empathy toward anyone who might have a different view point than theirs. Tiny is the only one who has expressed the slightest hint of compassion and understanding towards the political opposition who think that there is a better way to fund healthcare rather than a for profit system.
Nobody and I repeat nobody wants to see a pol pot style execution squad out hunting health care ceo’s.
In my opinion, what the OP and the authors of the editorial in question are doing is allocating blame to those that they disagree with without any introspection into the system and possibly their portion of the blame.
As the lyrics say,
The ingredients you got bake the cake you get
Commoditized health, monopolized fraud
"here's the doctors we own and research that we bought
They own loans and physicians, pharmacies and meds
They should start selling graves just to fuck you when you're dead

I'll tell you what the real issue is. The real issue is how did some politicians become so morally depraved that they immediately blame the victim, insinuate that he had it coming, and go off on unhinged tirades against the industry he toiled in to protect and improve the health of millions of Americans... while the guy's body is still warm?? That's sick.
What I’m seeing here in the majority of the posts, including the OP is a complete lack of empathy toward anyone who might have a different view point than theirs...
Wait... are you projecting? Seriously? I'm the OP. The reason I started this thread is to condemn the complete lack of empathy everyone can see in the reactions of the "progressive" far-left politicians who have spoken out so disgracefully. If Liz, Bernie, AOC et alia were capable of feeling even an ounce of genuine empathy, they would have shown respect for the murdered father of two by telling their callous, morally deficient online supporters to stfu.
Tiny is the only one who has expressed the slightest hint of compassion and understanding towards the political opposition who think that there is a better way to fund healthcare rather than a for profit system.
Tiny can speak for himself much more articulately than you can. All he did in his post #41 was point out how the left-wing echo chamber is regurgitating all of the online social-media filth and glorifying the killer.
Nobody and I repeat nobody wants to see a pol pot style execution squad out hunting health care ceo’s.
But hey, if a few of them do get bumped off, it's a swell opportunity to discuss my grievances against the health care system, right? I mean, I'm not saying they had it coming, BUT ... [insert all of your grievances here]...
In my opinion, what the OP and the authors of the editorial in question are doing is allocating blame to those that they disagree with without any introspection into the system and possibly their portion of the blame.
Wait - so now you have the insolent gall to suggest I am somehow to blame for Brain Thompson's murder? And the WSJ (whose editorial I copy-pasted for your edification) is also to blame for calling out the sick & twisted reactions on the left? Wtf is wrong with you? Your pathetic attempt at blame-shifting is so absurd, outrageous and irrational that it is unworthy of any response.
|
What's next - are you going to blame America for 9/11?

I had hoped to elevate the discussion a bit and talk about compassion for our fellow man. What I’ve gotten however is self righteous ignorance and an unwillingness to acknowledge others pain and anger.
I’ll have to follow Lucas’s advice and bounce out of this “left bashing troll thread”.
Peace and fellowship to all.

... Let's get back onto the thread topic, mates.
Don't seek to be morally depraved IF you are a part of
the Progressive Left. ... And if YOU leave them, then the
Progressive Left will be "left"...
