The Studio has closed
Drove down Richmond today and saw that Summer Studio near Fondren has closed. Only went there once and had an ok time. Don't know of anyone will miss the place, but pour one out.

Mike Mendez always recommend it but Everytime I go there is a shit hole. I been there like 3 times.

I've been going there since it was the previously named ( I have forgotten) place. Hit or miss. Had a couple of really attractive, good servers and several really bad ones but most were avg. They seemed to never have much biz. Magic, a block or so away also closed a few months ago.

I think it was called China Star or canyon spa before. Had good times with Kim and Cammie. Kim has her own spot on westpark now.

Agree with you Jackpuck….Mendez was always full of himself as well as other stuff. He was a “self proclaimed” expert of all AMP’s. I never could trust him either. With all his different handles, he still could be lurking around here someplace.

Spa Magic is "open" again near the old West Oaks Mall. The previous owner left the biz and came back.
