Of course I learned a lot of history just listening to stories from Grandparents and Great Aunts and Uncles who were born in 1900 to 1925. There is a lot not being taught in schools about history.

My dad was a history buff. The man had probably over a 100 VHS tapes. I knew way too much about history for a damn 7-year-old kid because of my dad and nope, never heard of VOA.
It doesn't sound like I missed out on not knowing about it. I may listen to it out of curiosity one day, but it certainly is not on my "to do" list.
