As for ISIS, he never had them out of Syria to begin with. The caliphate was broken but pockets of ISIS remained even under Trump's watch. ISIS was never eliminated. That's why you're wrong and will remain wrong. Even in duplicate or triplicate.

Why don't we qualify it? Can we agree that once al-Baghdadi was eliminated (by US Special Ops on trump's watch, cough cough), it eliminated ISIS from carrying out major terrorist attacks on Western soil?

He gets credit for breaking the caliphate, killing Baghdadi and eliminating the last major stronghold in Syria in 2020.

He doesn't get credit for eliminating ISIS because he never did. The Joint Chiefs pointed to the threat remaining in their 2020 report and Joint Chiefs and Coalition reports are widely available from 2020 till now.

Claiming that he eliminated ISIS is patently false. Sadly, the job was left unfinished. For a variety of reasons. Assad and Russia (often via Wagner) could have been better partners in that fight.

And now that Assad is out... we have our gift of celebratory fireworks to our old buddies and Israel has moved extensively to secure itself while Assad cowers in Moscow.
