When you get done scrutinizing a word or two, please explain how this makes sense for people who did what they needed to in order to obtain US Citizenship, or were natural born US Citizens?

US Citizens should NOT have to be given a choice. They should not be part of this process at all. Threatening citizens (love it or leave it) is never an option in a free country.

BTW - I'm guessing that a lot of us are birthright citizens, or our parents were.

Trump's going to get pushback from his MAGA army about cutting the Dreamers a break and will no most assuredly cave on that. It was merely a crumb tossed to those who might think it'll be different this time.

Man, you are way ahead of me. I'm just talking about the initial phase of deportation. I'm not even talking about the subsequent results if it gets way too out of hand. That's a much more complicated economic discussion to be had later.
