I have recently become a mentor to a young man who has aged out of the foster system and was in a horrible foster situation that led him to homelessness at the age of 18. I have been teaching him much needed social and communication skills. 
I have been providing stability and support to this young person by connecting with him and earning his trust.
I have been providing him with a roof over his head, clothing and resources that I feel can help him improve his life skills, knowledge, and self-sufficiency.
