With respect to staff.
This request is obviously important.
For whatever reason. I have given reasons in private.
It literally takes less effort to close the thread than to have back n forth pms or posts, or moving threads to their appropriate forum.

Staff can do this. Which I have no problem with! But will not with the same effort or less close a thread that's been requested by its op for reasons that's important to that member? Posts still being made in that thread that's supposed to just die.
