The Line Up For 2028, Democrats and Republicans: Poll
If this poll holds up . . .Not looking good for Democrats.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/welp-ther...ycsrp_catchall
Folks put Vance and Harris at the top spot for their parties.
After this election season, if the Democrats run Harris again, I don't think it matters who the Republicans nominate.

This is the type of poll I just hate, way too far out to mean anything. It is mostly name recognition.
This actually detracts from actual policy debate and makes things worse.

But what if . . .
If not Harris or Newsom, then who?
I am just wondering who would be a stronger candidate than either of them.
And of course, it is a long time. In a political campaign, four weeks is an eon. Four years is an eternity.

We finally just finished this 2024 circus. How about we just worry about 2028 in 3 years?
By the way, there is no way in hell Harris will be representing Democrats in 2028. If she can't beat Trump, she can't beat anyone.

What about Newsome? He is number two on that list of possibles.
It is my belief that while nearly as glib with a comeback as Shapiro, Newsome is almost as weak as Harris in terms of political history. 'Course, he does have these next few years to flip on immigration and such . . .and he is starting that process already.

Kalifornia has gone to complete shit under Newsom. There's no way he can run on any successes there, he'd gate raked over the coals, deservedly so. That's why the DNC just went with Kamala - because no history is better than bad history.

Shapiro. PA is pretty much a lock, the R would need to take Michigan or Wisconsin to even have a chance, which is still sketchy unless he/she can get both AND the entire southeast.

Won't running Shapiro offend the Islamic voters into voting for a Republican?
Oh wait, this year the Moslems voted for the Republicans because they are repulsed by the weirdness of the progressive left and the whole LGBTQ agenda.

Shapiro told team Harris during the vetting process that he wanted to remain Gov of Penn and not be on the ticket with Harris. He did not formally withdraw his name from consideration like the Gov of North Carolina.

No, because Shapiro supports a TWO state solution for the middle east.

Harris could not win a knee pads contest now, nor at any point in time in the future.
But, the Dims do need to start now as it will take that long for any Dim to light.
Newsome is out. But do the Dim handlers actually realize that no one out side of the needs to fall in the ocean state will vote for him?
So are we looking at 12 years of Repubs? Trump's 4 plus two terms for the Repub that wins in 28 & 32?
