So-- help an old brawd out....
I've been away for a bit..
I cannot confirm nor deny that I may or may not be in the general area in the near-ish future (you guys know I plan a couple months out...)
Is the Galleria area still the "place to be" these days? Or has traffic made it so much of a hellscape that I may want to consider a new location?
Don't worry Tarrant-- I'll show y'all a couple days of love as well, I know making the full trip across the metro isn't feasible for most
But-- I do need to make decisions on where to locate myself if I head to the Dallas side of the street so... What say you?

Plano, Richardson, Addison all seem to still be the standard spots I think.
You be sure to let me know your plans as they solidify.

Crap, guess I didn't it Post Quick Reply the first time. Here are some TC suggestions.
I've been out of the hobby for almost five years, but, based on my daily commute (west side of FW to mid-cities), I'd suggest either the 820/121 area in Hurst/NRH, CTP/820/Bryant Irvin area in west Fort Worth, or the University/I-30 area. Traffic's going to be a pain for potential clients anywhere, but I think those are the most manageable.
I'd avoid I-35W north of 820, 820 from 121 to I-35W/Mark IV, southbound I-35W out of downtown (you'd probably not want to be in that area anyway) and I-30 westbound from University like the plague.

Thanks! I appreciate the Tarr-Co help. I generally plan whether I'm going a little north or south on which of my long timers is able to get together. My last trip I ended up in that "west of University" area and won't be making that mistake again-- and I've avoided the 820/Beach zone for a looong time now.

In FW some girls have had success in the Hulen area as the construction in that part has finished while they are tearing up other areas.

Grace, I would most definitely avoid galleria area, besides Dallas galleria been dead for years. The Grand lux which I frequent a lot and maybe a few stores is keeping that place open, but certainly not a Good area to work in my opinion.
Plano, Frisco, Allen is more ideal these days, so that would be my 5 cent on it. Have fun whenever you come and please be safe.

Plano Legacy area has much more going on now than the Galleria. Sucks cause it's farther away from me. But hell, I'd drive half way across the country to see you. ;-)

Well-- its important to keep in mind that I'm really asking whether or not Galleria is still convenient. I'm not there full time anymore, so I don't know what's going on with construction, etc. Its not like I'm known for tearing up the town during my downtime-- you could stick me across from a library and I'd be a happy little clam.
You pretty much did drive halfway across the country last time

Convenient sure, and no construction in that area to my knowledge.

Galleria isn’t terribly inconvenient for me these days, if the stars line up with my schedule. I’m usually not too far south of there at least once a week.
Sadly, the migration further north continues, which puts a lot of ladies I wouldn’t mind meeting out of reach in Frisco, etc.
