... Crikey! ... Untimely hitting... ... Shitty management decisions.
Hopefully the lads can play better in Colorado! ...

They shouldn’t wait until the deadline to get a bat. The NL is so weak this year. With the pitching they have, they could make some noise in the playoffs. But they’ll wait. Why? I have no idea.

Have no idea? Really?
First name Bob. Last name Nutting. A $10 million good bat is $10 mill less for him and his family members on the payroll. He’s right where he wants to be. Interest from fans with a low payroll.

Actually, I don’t think it has nothing to do with Nutting. Who’s actually available now? Most teams in the NL are still in it. So they’re not sellers at this point. The Mets may not want to part with Alonso now. Buy July they might and there will be serious bidders then. Even tho his numbers are way down. His price will go up. Do the Jays really want to part with Guerrero Jr. now? His numbers are down too. They have another year of control. Maybe they’re holding out until July. But, there’s always people who aren’t deep thinkers who’ll blame Nutting for everything.

On to Colorado. Go Bucs!!!!

I’m gonna remind you of your post a couple days ago. There’s many other of your deep thinking posts asking why we don’t get bats. Now you’re saying there’s not much out there to fit your suck Bob’s dick narrative….Mr Deep Thinker.
Hard to keep track of all your “deep thinking” isn’t it. lol

Maybe it’s Cherringtons fault. Maybe he’s not a “deep thinker”?

Did I strike a nerve? Who’s made a trade this month? I’ll wait.

The 3 bats that are most talked about in trade rumors are Alonso, Guerrero Jr and Robert’s Jr. all 3 are having down years. The first two are 1st baseman, Robert’s is an Of., Robert’s is coming off an injury but is probably the best player. He’s still owed some big money as well as Alonso. They would be short term rentals. Guerrero has 1 more year to arbitration. So, he’s probably going to command more in a trade. Each one would be an upgrade. We’ll see.

Here’s your deep thinking comment yesterday early about making a move to pick up some offense “but they’ll wait. Why? I have no idea.”

Here’s your deep thinking comment later in the day after someone points out the obvious. “Who’s made a trade this month? I’ll wait.”

Maybe you need to think a little deeper. You’re confusing yourself.

... GOOD to have the lads rebound today after the shit game
on Saturday... The Red-legs coming to PNC Park for Monday
and the Australian bloke should be ready for yet-another
grand pitching performance and a Pirates WIN!

I’ve been looking at opposing teams lineups. They ALL have weak hitters. Even the Dodgers had two guys hitting around 200. Gonzales and Reynolds have higher BAs than anyone in the Reds lineup. Even Tellez is starting to hit. They still need to add at least one bat. We’re not far from the deadline, go get one.

... That Keller bloke surely pitches a real beaut of a game
and Reynolds hits a homer to win another snooze-fest.

Crikey! ... Has baseball fell to a new low?? ...

Reynolds has the highest BA in June in his a career in MLB. Game winning HR and a 17 game hitting streak.

i'm beginning to think this team is just a bat or two away from making some noise...............the question is if they do something about it
