Yes i am experienced enough to know that things in real life happens but some communication afterwards would be much appreciated and only the right thing to do
Also only a few people on eithet said do this
I am bitching because in the last couple months i have waisted 10 hours setting close to the providers incall location if i would have known i would have booked with someone else and not booked with that provider at all
Most clients value their time tooooo
I will just stay with my select regulars and the rest can starve

Had one do that to me yesterday. Had an appt set and then crickets. Finally answered an hour past time and just said she was busy with no sorry or lets reschedule

I have had to cancel (sometimes last minute) and I always feel bad when I do...time is previous on both sides of the fence.

I have issues with finding a reliable "partner" here in Springfield.

I 100% agree with you That seems like has become the norm lately they are completely fine with doing that to us but if we have something to come up we're the worst POS as ever. Anymore it's just a double standard with that and becoming common practice it seems

I agree Catman just a simple text saying they are going to have to cancel. Sitting around waiting for a response is not the way to do clients or providers.

Absolutely true. If they simply can't say i am sorry that i couldn't make it lets try and reschedule would be acceptable but to have no respect for our time is totally unacceptable. Futher more it just proves how selfish they are. And they don't get my money

Yes my time is as valuable to me as there time is to them. If I get a NC/NS without a explanation I just cross them off the list. If you want my money keep the appointment that simple

What a lot of them don't understand when they treat one of us guys bad. We have other guys pm us for info and tgey don't get a good reference and vhanging numbers and names does last long and they are soon found out

Had it happen to me the other day. Second time in a week with the same lady. First time had an excuse and the second time ghosted after several texts including one 5 minutes before the appointment confirming everything. So irritating.

I think I understand pretty well why some do this. They have a are doing something for large amounts of non-taxable, non traceable cash. They can work when they feel like and there is a close to Neverending supply of clients interested in their product. Human nature dictates we will focus more and more on our own perspective until something brings up back to some semblance of fairness. Couple this with the crowd this attracts and maybe a substance or two clouding the water and thinking.
Catman your making the mistake of thinking what you would do, as you, in their position. They are a totally different animal with a different background. They have access to things we never will.
Starting this line of work is breaking a barrier that many can't do. This can be a good or bad thing as they are involved in a aspect of humanity not everyone gets to experience. What they do with that is up to them.

So true. Some of us love what we do..
We ARE a different kind of animal.
There are some who are unreliable and hate what they do.
But…it’s quick cash. Those are the ones who won’t be around long..
And that’s fine .. it gives you gentlemen variety, if they don’t NCNS.
There is a breed of us who are professional..
And therefore we have been around awhile.
