Ace, presidents who guide this country well do not get their ass kicked in an election by a damn mummy named "Anyone but Trump" Biden.
I don't agree with this case against Trump at all. But fuck Trump's sorry ass. Karma is a bitch and especially so when you are a piece of shit grifter like he is. He's fucked over so many people out of money that he deserves whatever he gets.

Doesn’t matter what thread you read, the MAGA cult cheer squad is there shaking their pompous!
OFA’s post above is typical of their blind fealty. Pity they don’t support Americans like they support that piece of human flotsam.

Which is worse - blind fealty or blind TDS rage? There are millions of Americans who only support trump's right to be treated fairly. Like you or me or any other American.
Our only fealty is to the Constitution and the institutions it created. You know, the ones that have served us pretty well for over 230 years now. The same ones all you professional Trump haters are so frightfully ready to blow up in your unchecked, unthinking zeal to "stop trump".
The end does NOT justify the means.

Wasn't it Mr. Trump who did not or would not take an oath to uphold the Constitution ? Or said he did not ?
It is correct a lot of real estate developers use incorrect or unrealistic valuation numbers. Whether it amounts to fraud is best left to a case by case basis.
The only true group that has TDS are the blind followers of Mr. Trump. Just like real estate, it has
all been seen before. Dietrich Bonhoeffer described it very well.

Persecution of Donald J. Trump by Courts in New York City
The third E. Jean Carroll civil case that's kicking off now is another one to add to the list, which includes Carroll's previous lawsuits and the cases prosecuted by Alvin Bragg and Letitia James.
To review, Carroll published an article in New York magazine in 2019 claiming a long line of hideous men, twenty-one total, sexually abused her. The last on the list, when she's 52 years old, is Donald Trump. One day over 25 years ago, the two allegedly head to a dressing room in a New York department store so she can try on a see through body suit for him. When they get there, he allegedly sexually assaults her.
When the article came out Trump called Carroll a liar and disparaged her, and it was game on.
Despite presenting no more evidence than contemporaneous conversations she allegedly had with friends, the court determines that Trump did commit sexual assault. In the third trial, he and his attorneys will not be allowed to question whether assault occurred or whether Trump and Carroll were even ever in the department store in question. The judge may not even allow Trump to take the stand. Instead the only issue to be decided will be how much more Trump will have to pay for defaming Carroll after his second trial, because he's too stupid to keep his mouth shut.
So, courts in New York City very possibly are going to make Trump do the following,
1. Pay $10+ million for a sexual assault that probably never occurred, and for Trump's refusal to stop exercising his First Amendment rights.
2. Pay $375 million for exaggerating the value of assets, to banks that didn't believe his numbers anyway. And that made good profits from doing business with him. Oh yeah, and stop doing business in New York too, where properties accounting for a large % of his net worth are located.
3. Spend time in jail for paying off a porn star who threatened to reveal a one night stand.
Many Republicans correctly identify this as chicken shit, and these cases have boosted Trump's popularity among the party faithful.
And that may be part of the New York Democrats' master plan. Boost Trump's popularity so he's the nominee, then hit him with substantive cases in Washington D.C. and Fulton County Georgia. Democrats would much rather see Biden running against Trump instead of, say, Nikki Hailey, but that's not going to happen.
Publicity from the election interference cases will drive many independents into Biden's arms, or at least fire up his base to go and vote. They're more likely to vote for Democrats down ticket too. 2024 may be a disaster for Republicans.

I hope Biden gets to run against Trump. Right now Biden is polling better against DeSantis. I think Biden will win the electorial college over Trump or DeSantis. I don't think the repulicans will put Nikki Hailey on top of the ticket.

You give the Dems way too much credit. They don't have a master plan, other than abusing the legal system by tossing as much shit as possible against the wall to see if any of it sticks. I agree that several of their cases are more "substantive" than others, but they have no control over which ones may go to trial before the election, and in what order.
If trump is smart he'll choose Nikki ("we've got a country to save") Haley as his running mate. She would go a long way toward reassuring all those suburban housewives and independents that it's safe to vote Republican again.

She's not a conservative. She is a Republican that believes in open borders, speech restrictions, and going to war in Ukraine.
It looks like a democrat and smells like a democrat, then it is a democrat.
Trump won't choose her and if he did his base would instantly realize there's little reason to vote for Trump as he's essentially making his replacement a democrat.

What is she, a WINO?
And why are you raging about her. That’s Trump’s job. He’s already interjected racism into his attacks on her.

Nonsense. She believes in securing our borders, protecting free speech, and helping Ukraine defend itself without dragging us into Putin's war. 3 swings, 3 misses for you.
And she would be a boundless improvement over the cackling gasbag we're currently stuck with as Veep.
But that's a topic for another thread. This one is about the Democrats corrupting our judicial system and trying to criminalize private business practices they don't understand because they never worked in the real, wealth-creating world and they are consumed to the point of lunacy with hurting trump.

Did Trump commit fraud? Did he makes statements about the values of his properties that were indisputably untrue? Did he use Trumpian math to measure the size of properties that increased the size by a magnitude of 300%? Did he claim the income on properties were market value rentals when they were subject to rent control?
The complaints and whining about Trump being sued for something he didn't do is simpleton bullshit.
