Biden telling folks how great the economy is
For real, have you ever told a woman she doesn’t have a clue? Even if it were true, it’s a disaster to try to sell to the public.

While I think the economy is just MEh....I think that ppl like Manchin screwed up by not voting for more. I wanna know when the infrastructure money will start showing up in roads and new Bridges. Seems like it's way behind the votes. Dems suck at messaging on accomplishments tho too. Biden needs to get a better press person and campaign manager. It's time to start with all the total bullshit from both sides...but at least we don't hear about the post office guy or the education lady who was the millionaire inheritance of Amway doing crazy bullshit.
Remember when the guy who was in charge of the US post office decided he was going to just destroy Mass mail sorters, oh and by the way just before an election? You can't make that shit up - talk about right in your face fucking cheating

So the Pentagon just failed their 6th consecutive audit and you fellas think our politicians need to do a better job selling their accomplishments and you want them to be in charge of even greater funding?
For fuck's sweet sake.

You can forget about any infrastructure repair or upgrades. They will put money into fixing up beloved Israel and Ukraine after their little wars are over. This Country's leadership is a joke.

His presidency has brought war, poverty and weakness.

How has it been a disaster? Just repeating that doesn’t make it so.
War, poverty and weakness? Understand the first two, but weakness? Were you going for something prosaic there, amigo?
Peace, prosperity and strength under Trump. Yeah, you said that.
Salty, you really need to get a writing job with the Trump campaign. Your work has not gone unnoticed, Patriot!

Well, when Credit Card debt is at record highs and default on said debt is increasing that isn't the sign of a strong economy.
The Green New Deal anti-CO2 crap is a time bomb with things getting worse everyday because of it. But what do you expect when politicians don't have degrees in engineering or even accounting.
The really sad part is that the Democrat Economic Policies always fail because they are top down mandated and ignore basic economic realities.

Lets set aside the raw numbers and look at how we bought our first house.
Way back in 1978, I worked as a bottom of the ladder lab technician testing cement. Not what millennials today would call a "good job". My spouse worked teaching at a private high school and got paid the usual private school level of peanuts.
We tightned up[ and saved her meger pay for about a year, and put down money on a little house with a mortgage at (Waite for it) ~9%!. Even with that nut every month, we were able to pay-off the loan in 15 years.
The rest of the daily, weekly and monthly load was OK for us to just make it. Life happens and we did much better down the road during the Reagan years. We always managed to keep everything paid up and then paid off.
Today, what I am hearing and reading is not that. Even with mortgage rates a little lower, everything else is way up, making home buying for a young couple nearly impossible.

Biden's government spent, borrowed, and printed trillions of dollars, inflation returned to levels not seen in 40 years with the currency becoming devalued 40%/ This leaves no choice. Powell raise the rates to fix Joes mistakes.

Inflation rates in other similar countries were just as high and higher in some countries. Is Biden to blame for that or maybe there are other factors to consider. Just as there were factors involved in the 2020 GDP being -2.8% under Trump.

Biden's policies promote long term systematic inflation, It is really that simple. Mostly with increased government regulations that increase the cost of business to operate.
Your numbers just point out that all countries over reacted to Covid and totally fucked up the economy and increased inflation.

Your last statement may or may not be true but it is a fact that the reaction to Covid was the primary reason for the inflation rate being so high. The rate has eased considerable in 2023.
Gasoline prices have dropped for 60 straight days. Inflation rate has eased to 3.3%. GDP grew 4.9% in the third quarter and will be solid for full year 2023. Personal income is up. Stock markets are up considerably from when Biden took office. Unemployment rate is 3.9%. CPI is up 3.2%. The dollar remains strong. Used to be 1.3 dollars to the Euro and is now under 1.1. We will produce more oil and natural gas in 2023 than ever before in our history, and we are predicted to produce even more in 2024.
There is still room for improvement but all indicators are moving in the right direction.

Fair enough and there's truth in what you're saying. However, inflation kicked off in the USA months before it did in other countries, because of the way-overdone fiscal stimulus resulting from Biden's American Rescue Plan (ARP). Larry Summers and Jason Furman, two top Democrat economists, were shouting from the rooftops at the time that it was a bad idea. Not only was it likely to juice inflation, but perhaps more importantly it ran up the national debt by another $1.9 trillion.
The ARP is part of the reason why Americans have seen real (inflation adjusted) wages fall since 2020. It's part of the reason why ICU and many other Americans say what they do about the cost of living. And why in polls Americans are giving a huge edge to Republicans as to who they believe does a better job of handling the economy.

Throw in the movie in between and the total amounted to what we spent on Christmas for them a few years ago!
Sure, the rate of inflation has come down, but we are still stuck with the inflated prices that came after Biden took office.
