I guess this review isn’t helpful according to the mods… he said I did a Ad not a review and I was unsure of her name… so no credit… you guys agree?? Not worth anything… I’m posting an ad for her, not actually giving helpful information?? She doesn’t give her name in the ad…. u guys better make sure you have the correct names or no credit from now on… according to the mod… he’s not responding to my DMs…. Maybe he will re-evaluate…? Or maybe I get banned… we will see… I’ve been respectful…

Mods need an attitude adjustment on what gets shared. Correct me if I’m wrong but eccie makes money on membership fees and advertising. However, their blatant conservatism and over exuberant censorship about what you can say puts their very business model at risk. Bottom line is other sites, see my comments on fb groups, are overtaking them in terms of size and transparency in communication. Furthermore, they are free. The only advantage eccie has is longevity(ie volume of historical comments) and a fairly stable base of mongers who are familiar with it. However, neither is really a durable barrier to entry. If the mods don’t get more progressive the site will devolve to a meeting place for new mongers to get enrollment information to other more relevant and useful sharing groups. Mods not trying to be contentious but you need to evolve. Hubris is deadly in business.

Not to mention, eccie is extremely unpopular in many cities and is only used in certain areas. Many other sites have surpassed its popularity in much bigger and more active cities.

Spot on and they frequently change their names. I got dinged for this exact same thing - being honest that I may not have understood an Asians name due to poor English skills (hers not mine).

I think Manage2 should be allowed an appeal vote by the members who rely on these views to spend their money well and stay safe.
