They’ll be produced in China by slave labor and big diesel powered equipment.

No, you're going to keep building it with most of the infrastructure you have today. In Montana and Wyoming, you're absolutely going to power quite a bit with wind.
You're a decade out at min from any upswing in nuclear. But you also underestimate how much solar and wind is being installed.
By all means, focus on what you think is possible. And conveniently forget about gas and combined cycle. We're not limited by what you're aware of... we're enabled by what you aren't

I think you read me wrong, and I’m certainly no energy expert. My point is that we’re getting ahead of ourselves and doing things bass ackwards. You get the technology and infrastructure in place ~before~ pushing everyone towards using it, and certainly before timelines and mandates.
Hybrid technology is really good, we should be focused on that before all electric. I got my kid an 01 Prius when she started college 10 years ago. It’s now all beat to fuck because she can’t drive but she refuses to give it up even tho she makes a zillion a year and can afford any car she wants. I’ve got my eye on a Highlander hybrid but haven’t pulled the trigger yet bc my current work beater is still in real nice shape. 40+ mpg sounds better and better with how high gas is.

No, I undertood you just fine. The issue is battery storage. Solar and wind at scale, combined with existing grid can supply more than enough energy. In some cases far, far too much.
The lack of capture and storage is the real issue. Which is why nuclear, gas turbine and combined cycle round out the lineup. Hydro is very specifically location locked.
The charging station issue will sort itself out as there's incentive to invest in it, and anyone serious about going electric will know they have an added investment in the charger.
The concern is not the source of the energy.

Thanks for confirming you know nothing about business
You do realize don't you that their are lots of foreign companies that make cars
And you do realize don't you that Tesla has roughly 60% of the total market share for EVs in the US while Ford and GM combined have 10%
And you do realize that Ford and GM lose big on average on every EV they sell
Apparently with your statement, you don't realize any of this and therefore don't understand why Senile Biden's ridiculous EV mandate will eventually put Ford and GM autoworkers out of work

The Senile Imbecile Biden trying to gaslight the American people
Senile Biden is asked about why Americans aren't happy about the economy:
"You all are not the happiest people about what you report. You get more legs when you report something negative... I think [Americans] know they're better off financially than they were before. It's a fact."
LOL - Even the dumb ass DNC news media knows they can't gaslight the American public over Senile Biden's inflation when they know the people see the rising cost of groceries, gas, mortgages, etc, etc. Yet this despicable piece of shit Senile Biden tries to tell people they are better off paying much more
I guess he is simply counting on fooling his moronic, dumb ass leftist voters who pathetically ignore reality

A Fox News poll about Biden. Lol. Might as well poll chickens to see if they eat corn.

Bidenomics!
Rising food prices straining low-income households.
US Census Bureau: 27% of households with income under $35,000 didn’t have enough to eat in the last week
Food accounts for 11% of all spending for households in the bottom quintile of income, almost x2 the share in the top quintile
