Default Jimmy Buffet R.I.P.

One of a kind. Saw him 10 years ago in Frisco, same week I joined ECCIE. What an important week that was

Jackson Browne opened. It was a party atmosphere.

I hope Jimmy's enjoying that Cheeseburger in Paradise.

I was at that concert, too, Chung. And many others over the years at various venues but none were as great as Frisco. The two day party in the parking lots were awesome!

He will be sorely missed….truly a legend

RIP Jimmy.

Best place in DFW for frozen Margaritas?

Please don't say Pappasito's or one of those other Tex Mexican chain restaurants like El Fenix!!

Someplace that's authentic Mexican, not Tex Mex, preferably single or two locations at the most, Hispanic/Latino family owned.

That's great! The Frisco show was it for me, but outstanding it was. One of the few concerts that I've seen that was an EVENT. You felt the importance. I'm sure there are Guys that wouldn't get it, but if you were there you got it.

So y'all are fans. Got it. I like things others don't care for so I am not judging...

But you do admit, his schtick didn't really make good music, right? He's kinda like KISS for older, heavier dudes in cargo shorts and tucked in shirts...right?

And Frisco was the bomb. Only made the concert for a few songs through special friends letting us in. On the flipside, buried my face and motorboated a woman in front of my kid. Shit happens.

I saw Jimmy Buffet open for the Eagles on their Hotel California tour in 1977 when I was a kid. Really fantastic show all of the way around. Been a fan since. RIP JB

They were both touring on their biggest album, and at the top of their game in 1977. And both would be headlining Stadiums 20-30 years later. Amazing pairing.
