In fairness to UC, as far as it seems there is only one member of board management active in the Houston area, and it appears UC has far more cities to moderate than just Houston. He can't keep up with every post, except the posts that have been reported which should have priority.


Also if a board admin looked at this issue we're having and tells UC to leave it alone, then that's all he can do unless dorian/spitshine screws up in a big way. I'm not sure of this software, but other software I've used has different things that moderators can use, and the admins have access to more toys and whistles.


Lastly, maybe UC feels just like we do and can't tolerate the games being played in his yard, but as a member of the ECCIE staff, he really can't say or even hint how he feels.

Admin. has to be able to tie an ip and/or device to another account before action can be taken.
Its frustrating yes. However there are some members really good at catfishing. Making themselves seem like another poster, to cause trouble to others. Thats why admin. has to be cautious.

Cautious about what? This is a privately owned site. Their rules or they can ban you as they see fit. Sorry to tell you Winn but they don't have to be cautious about hurting someone's feelings.

There are fake accounts that have been opened acting like another member to get them banned or extend their ban. Ive seen it many times. Thats why they have to be cautious.

But the relevant experience on this topic would be on your side of the fence, not his. This whole idea that actual IP proof of using multiple handles is necessary before banning is hogwash. So let’s say the admins ban someone based on suspicion alone, and if it turns out they were wrong, what ramifications are there for ECCIE? Answer: None whatsoever.
