In accordance with the first word of your post, if your faculties are impaired and you close your eyes tightly, the AMP can be luxurious.

I am not advocating for such advance preparation prior to, during (which will get you thrown out), or after the appointment, only making an observation based upon my younger years. Nowadays I need all the blood and synapses to work together unhindered to deliver a good or great experience.

I would like to know, too. There are some nice interiors around but they’re L1 at best. I wish there was a ‘high-end’ option. Sounds nice. I’m mostly out of the scene but would like to know where one might be.

Back in my time there were places between 59 and Richmond west of the galleria. One even sat on the feeder near the luxury car dealer. I remember one time I pulled into one of these places but it was closed. An older mamasan appeared in a late model Lexus sedan and asked me if that was what I was looking for, in her broken English of course.

When I said yes, she said follow me, and led me over to another place. That’s costumer service!! It had high ceilings and that rich pink lighting everywhere. I kinda miss that lighting. One girl new some chiropractic-like adjustments; that was cool as shit. I remember that quaint smell of listerine. Ah, those were different times.

In Dallas there were some. I want to say along Harry Hines. Uncle Leo used to go nuts on those places during election cycles. I haven’t been up there in 10’yrs+.

Thanks for this thread. It seems like massage places are popping up everywhere, but I’m skeptical of them.

Truthfully a REAL High End Amp would be the EVH amp, some Marshalls, and select models of Fenders.

there has not been one of those in H town for a while. There were several in Dallas before the big law went into effect and they closed down a lot of them. There was one I used to go on visits where you were given a whirlpool bath, then a table shower, then a massage then sex, then another massage. But of course it closed down.
