I didn't say they were because of you.

She has had a bad experience somewhere along the line. Bad enough to be armed at all times. That is what they used to do in the wild west. And now that everyone can be packing, maybe we are going back to the wild west. A little surprised we don't hear of more shoot outs and gun fights in the news.

This is also a good counterpoint to when clients bring weapons. Perhaps an enlightening one.

We don't hear about all the shootings in the news because they are so common. They only report a few. I can't find it but I read not long ago, on average, 6 people are shot per day in Houston (or maybe it was Harris County).
