And unfortunately, he still has 35 to 40% of the reptards fooled. That's may be enough to win the republican nomination, but will get him destroyed in the general election. Fake-ass Faux news continues to post that the raid was justified. He probably has more of a chance to be in jail before the 2024 election.

Shortly after the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago this month, reportedly to reclaim documents Donald Trump had taken from the White House in January 2021, journalist David Martosko announced that a source close to the former president confirmed the documents were boxed by government staffers in the GSA, not Trump’s own staffers.

2. Some idiot bureaucrat at the National Archives who hates Trump decided he wants the records back
3. Trump fully cooperates and they take 15 boxes of records
4. In June they visit to look at remaining records and ask that an additional lock be added to the storage room which Trump immediately does
5. Senile Biden directs the corrupt FBI and DOJ to conduct an illegal search of Trump's home in order to attack his likely 2024 opponent

Sadly, I think that this is just a ruse that Trump has positioned himself to be a victim. So is to bilk more of his dimwitted followers into giving him money. In the end he knows, that redacted statement wont shed much light as to the intent of all the feds want, but one of his attorneys probably woke up in the middle of the night and said holy shit they've been looking at your crap for 2 weeks. What else could be in there!? As far as this being a striking back moment, I'd say more of a swing and a miss.

First he didn’t have the documents.
Then he touted executive privilege.
When that didn't fly, he moved onto the FBI planted them.
Not satisfied with just that excuse he claimed he declassified them.
Recently he said they were his and demanded they be returned.
And now it's all Mark Meadows fault.
Now "sources close to the president" and confirmed by one of the most right-wing bias news sources,breitbart. That's laughable.

So, yes the count at the moment is seven; seven ridiculous excuses that contradict each other but none-the-less are voraciously gobbled down by and agreed with by the vacuous bobble-heads watching faux news and quoting breitbart.
