There were black markets for items that were considered "war" effort that were rationed.
And as we've seen, Trumpys have no problem lying.
Any time someone makes a claim (like election fraud and many of Trump's baseless claims about many subjects) and won't explain the claim, you should be very wary of the claim.

The black market deals generally with illegal goods and services. During WWII, the black market was meat, gasoline, and other rationed goods. In a socialist country, many everyday items can only be found on the black market.

I know what black markets have to do with socialism. I also know history. I know the black market in the US during WWII consisted of mostly illegal goods and services as well as things that were rationed. Socialism didn't figure in unless you see the government rationing things, for a limited time during a war, as socialism.

The CEO of whole foods made sweeping accusations about about socialism as well as his claims WF was the driving force behind a wider choice of foods at a grocery store are overstated.
If socialism is as pervasive as he claims, he could have easily provided examples. His claim the military is socialist is bizarre as are several of his choices.
Anytime his business moves are thwarted (unchecked capitalism) he will claim socialism.
Here is an article that explains socialism and the black market that accompanies it.
It's nothing like we have ever had.
