Default I’ve had enough - ready to tap out!

This Texas heat (100+ temps) sucks big time, I’m over it already…. bring on Fall. Don’t recall it being this brutal growing up, but I’m also not the wee whipper-snapper I used to be (well, maybe I’m still the wee part!). And to think we still have August to suffer thru.

You know it’s bad when the fire hydrants are whistling for the dogs.

It's still not as bad as 2011, when we had 71 days over 100 degrees.

If I survived the heatwave of 1980 with 69 days over 100, 42 consecutive and topped out @113 degrees....I think I can survive this one.

When we pass 113 ...then maybe I'll consider relocating...lol

Was working construction outside at DFW Airport during 1980. You could lay a metal tool on the deck and try to pick it up 5 minutes later you would need a glove or have to pour cold water on it to pick it up.

I guess the trade off is that the hobby here is just as hot compared to the rest of the country.
