Yeah, I expected the Mavs to get at least one game here. Role players tend to not travel well on the road but then I think about what the Mavs did in game 7 against The Suns.

It was okay for the Warriors not to show up last night, but if they don't close it out in game 5, they won't in game 6 back here either. I wouldn't want to face the Mavs in a game 7 if they watched what they did to Phoenix. The last thing the Warriors should want to see is a young "I don't give a fuck, so I'm not scared" team like the Mavs in an elimination game like that. Having said that, I doubt this goes past 5.

I agree. The Mavs did play well in San Fran in game 2.. they could have won that game. If they play like they did in the first half of that game but all 4 quarters, they have a chance to force game 6. If they force it, I like our chances of forcing game 7. It’s cliché, but it’s one game at a time.

GS can be beaten! Mavs just need to come out swinging and don't let off until the game ends, I mean this clowns did blow a 3-1 lead against a less loaded team that lebron was playing with

Mavs have proven they can beat the Dubs. Obviously lol.. but game 2 they did not adjust from shooting 3s in the 3rd when they were not falling for them and let GS back into the game. If they shifted to attacking the paint, good chance they tie up the series then. Game 3 back here we had a chance too. Game 4 the bench players for GS almost brought them back. If Kidd can get these guys to play like they have but the entire game, adjust when their 3s are not falling while playing defense like they have been, they have a chance.

Mavs came out flat.. Luka not getting calls and letting it affect his play. He needs to get his head in the game, move on from calls not getting called and just play

Or GSW just is better than the Mavs, there was no chance Luka could beat a full team of depth and multiple star talent on his own in 7 games. In a normal conference without so many injuries the Mavs don't even make the WCF anyway. He needs a costar, be happy having the best player in the league lol.

They gave it a shot but Luka needs more help, I think the Celtics will be a better matchup for GS, I need to see anyone but GS holding up the trophy at the end

Why do you dislike GS so much? I think they’re the best run team in the league. And they play THE most attractive brand ur ball in the league. Great movement without the ball, very well designed concepts, amazing execution, and one if the best coaches in the league. And with it a doubt, the very best arena in the league. I loved it the two games I’ve been there.

Aside from Draymond, I have no real issues with the Dubs. Curry is something else, Clay is a feel good story this year.. and goddamn if they are not future proofing with Poole. That team is stacked. Boston probably has the best chance to match up.. if Miami somehow pulls out a win in game 7… this is the Dubs to lose.

This is going to be a big offseason for the Mavs. We are missing one piece.. if we can get a good big.. and just solidify our bench.. next year could be good. MFFL

But seriously.....I don't really hate GS, I wouldn't mind seeing another team up on top, I'm rooting for Boston to make it to the finals and give GS a hard time. I ultimately just love good basketball

I hear ya on the old school type of basket ball.. but sadly that’s really in the past. I do find games a bit fun to watch when they are raining 3s.. and GS is one of the best at it right now. I still will root for GS. If Boston makes it, they will be a legitimate challenge for GS.. other wise I think it Miami will get swept

I go way back. Show Time Lakers and back before that. The NBA of the 80’s and 90’s was great. And I abhor the degree to degree to which routine hard playoffs fouls have morphed into penalty ones or twos. But while I think we’ve going too far the other way, the physicality of the Bad Boy Pistons, Pat Riley’s Knicks teams, etc. was unsustainable. Today’s game is better.

I love Draymond. Had no problem with KD and GS. I just wish he had enough sense to stay. GS is my favorite teams after the Mavs.

I’m hoping Miami comes out of the East. Never had any use for Boston because of holdover animosity between the 80’s playoff rivalry when I was a Lakers fan. But No matter the match up, I always pull fir the Western Conference team in the finals.

I think the Dubs still win it all, but Boston will give them a fight. I’m hoping for 7 games as well.
