Just gonna say I can't watch and listen as I am at my local watering hole, but I'll guess, even if not even alluded to, the food source and Turkey are connected.

I'll watch it, if I remember, in the morning.

Still don’t know why there has to be a negotiation. This is an unprovoked act of aggression and mass murder.

Fuck that guy.

Default ISO: Experienced fishing guide

Was thinking about doing some fishing on the Siverskyi Donets River down around Sievierodonetsk way. Anyone know if the trout are running yet? I've heard the weather has been mostly cloudy to partly-shelling.

As you know he's sitting on the largest or second largest nuclear weapons stockpile in the world, and his military is many times the size of Ukraine's. If he wants to annihilate Ukraine he can.

The conventional argument is that we should treat Putin like Hitler. If Hitler had been stopped early on when he annexed, say, part of Czechoslovakia, the world would have been better off. But I read where someone was speculating maybe we need to be thinking about World War I too, in the aftermath of all this. The allies humiliated Germany and drove its economy into the ground. And Hitler arose from the ashes.

I tend to agree with Macron. It would be best if there were a face saving way for Putin to exit from his disastrous adventure.

The only way is for Russia to go back to the pre 2014 borders ( get out of Crimea ) and there will be no further punishment for Russia. Failure to do this and "save face" will result in permanent sanctions on Russia.

What would happen if every American company pulled their business form Russia like McDonalds just did? Think that might make a difference not only to Russia but China, who just might stop and think about what they are doing with Taiwan.

At this point I don't think it would make a difference Hedonist. Most of them already have left or announced plans to. Some of these sanctions, imposed by both sides, are hurting the west and the Russian "man on the street" much more than they're hurting Putin and the Russian government.

I suspect sanctions usually don't work. Or at least they seem to have helped impoverish ordinary Cubans, Venezuelans, and Iranians while doing little to penalize the countries' leaders. And they harden the views of the people in those countries against us. Castro used U.S. sanctions for many years to justify the failure of his sorry ass policies, and drum up nationalistic support.

sanctions may not work, but they're the only thing thats in the diplomatic arsenal if a nation is not willing to go to war over certain issues.

Default Are your tax dollars at work for you?!?

After having given Zelenskyy the customary BBBJ, CIM, NQNS for the third time (unfortunately we cannot yet do Luminol on photos, because I'm pretty sure you would see splooge on the corners of her mouth), San Fran Nan also forked over another check worth $40B US taxpayer dollars, bringing the total of US Tax payers dollars to about $63B.

Zelenskyy expressed his appreciation and San Fran Nan explained it was her privilege to give away the excess tax payer dollars that they had saved up by not spending on useless projects such as: Securing the US Southern border, helping out US Small Business that had been shuttered during the covid, reducing Obmamacare costs that are about to spiral upwards and securing the schools that the US tax payer's children attend and the rest was from the Big Guy.

While texting on his group chat with the 'Sons of Ukraine', all of whom worked on the board of directors for Ukrainian energy companies before Russia invaded Ukraine - which includes Pelosi's son, John Kerry's son, Mitt Romney's son and Hunter Biden. Peolsi's son, texted that his Mom looked forward to coming again, to which Zelenskyy simply replied #METOO. Zelenskyy was caught on a hot mic saying something to a staffer as he was exiting the stage something about really wanting to splash one across Miss Lube Rack's rack next time.

Personally, I doubt his ROS in his review on ekky is gonna make it sound any better.

Yeah, it doesn't make a lot of sense -- western companies giving up assets that the oligarchs will buy on the cheap.

But this might be the CIA's plan . Here's my theory. According to your post, Russia's getting McPutin restaurants. They're going to be rebranded McDonald's restaurants. Now McDonalds, as in Mc Donald Trump, has lots of fatty foods. Actually Donald's favorite meal is two Big Mac's, two fish filets and a chocolate malted. So maybe Putin will start eating all that crap too. And he doesn't have Trump's constitution. That shit is heart attack city. Combine that kind of diet with his cancer and he'll be six feet under lickety split.
