Default The Kneelers quarterback curse.

Ben eats the front end of a car on his bike, almost killed.

Now, what looked like what may have been the new starter is hit and killed on a highway.

Is this the start of a QB curse for Pittsburgh?

Karma for being woke?

They say the Lord works in mysterious ways.

He was the third stringer last year, and this year he probably wasn’t making the team if we draft a quarterback this year. But that doesn’t make for a good story.

Exactly. What’s the saying…
Never let the truth interfere with a good story.

Not sure about that. The Steelers just signed him to a $2 million tender. Far cheaper than Rudolph. And Haskins was more athletic and a superior arm. If they drafted a QB, they probably would have traded Rudolph and kept Haskins around.

Isn’t Rudolph also $2 million a year? They also played Rudolph in the Lions game over Haskins when Ben was unavailable, so they seem to prefer him.

I will admit that their was a possibility Rudolph leaves instead and Haskins cements himself as the Steelers quarterback that’s not wearing a uniform on game day. Do you think we can get Devo to edit his post?

Rudolph is making 5 million per year with a 2 million dollar signing bonus.

Rudolph had far more experience in the Steeler system so he was the backup. But most Steelers felt Haskins was more talented. Even Ben, who said Haskins could throw a ball thru a car wash and it wouldn’t get wet. Besides, the Steelers usually keep 4qbs. Dobbs was also on the roster last year. Haskins was Tomlins pet project. He would have been on the Steelers this year.
